MLK 2020 Dinner & Celebration

Please join us for the University of Mississippi’s inaugural community-wide Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dinner and Celebration. The MLK Dinner and Celebration is on Friday, January 17th, 2020, in the Jackson Ave Center. The event begins at 6:30 pm with dinner and formal program beginning at 7:00 pm.

The featured guest speaker is Dr. Leslie-Burl McLemore (bio), Professor Emeritus of Political Science from Jackson State University and Mississippi civil rights activist. Dr. McLemore will speak on “Martin Luther King, Jr. and The Right to Vote: The Long Road to Freedom.” Special music will be provided by The Soul Tones.
